PDFCreator is a free tool to create PDF files from nearly any Windows application.

Key Features:
* Create PDFs from any program that is able to print.

* Terminal Server: PDFCreator also runs on Terminal Servers without problems.

Advantages
  • Easy and freeware to quickly create PDF files from any source.
Disadvantages
  • The PDF creation is not 100% accurate in some cases.
  • Currently is not fully compatible with Windows Vista.

I started to wor kwith with PDFCreator many years ago.
And everything is fine in this printer-replacement, except the recent Yahoo bundle, not necessary.

Nice tool that will save any file in Adobe PDF format: just install and "print" onto PDF.
Unfortunately, a copycat program is also available with the same name, for questionable reasons.
Because of this, Software Informer misreports that an update is available, which in fact is the other program!
The "real thing" is on SourceForge! And it's Free and, as far as I can say, safe.
